More than 225 University of Minnesota students earned public health degrees in 2012, and the U of M’s School of Public Health honored the graduates during its annual commencement ceremony, held this year at Mariucci Arena.

The commencement address was delivered by Reed V. Tuckson, MD, executive vice president and chief of medical affairs for UnitedHealth Group. The title of Tuckson’s address was “The Greater Duty of the Public Health Professional in this Time of Crisis.”
