Nearly 280 attend SPH orientation

A record number of students attended the SPH 2011 Orientation at the University of Minnesota’s McNamara Alumni Center. The incoming students learned more about the school and what they can look forward to at the U of M, said Maggie Aftahi, SPH recruitment director.

“We had students representing 13 different countries and 33 different states,” she said. “And we’re really excited to have them here in our family, and welcome them and set them up with the resources and tools for success as they start their new school year.”
